My husband, Paul, and I have two sons and two grandsons. Having lived in Elstead for 28 years, I have attended St James’ Church for 16 years, growing in my parish role alongside a spiritual journey which has been shaped by a caring role for our younger son, Chris. After sensing a calling several years ago, I am currently undertaking Foundations in Ministry training with the Diocese of Guildford to discern and prepare for a future role as Lay Associate Minister in the parishes. I enjoy a wide variety of Christian worship, serving as occasional preacher and prayer leader. Being passionate about creating safe spaces for encountering God’s presence and healing ministry, I have facilitated monthly Prayer for Healing services for over ten years. Do feel free to contact me with any prayer needs. Other areas of ministry that resonate deeply with me are discipleship, ecumenism, sharing the Good News of God’s love for us all as His Beloved Children and helping people walk more closely with Jesus in daily life. Developing resources for biblical-based well-being and soul care for the church family and beyond, including creating and facilitating retreats, reflective prayer stations and small-group Bible study and Christian spirituality materials are life-giving activities which bring me joy as well. Outside church, I love walking, visiting old churches, hosting family gatherings and nurturing connections
